Welcome to Ultra Perth 50k and half marathon. A course with views at every turn, following the water’s edge of the beautiful Canning and Swan rivers, and taking in iconic sites of the Matagarup Bridge, the World Class Optus Stadium precinct, Elizabeth Quay, Kings Park and finishing in South Perth with endless city scapes.
And throughout this beautiful city, we’ve had some amazing races including the Perth Marathon, Bridges Fun Run and more recently, the Swan River Half Marathon.
With an incredible growth in ultra marathon events and runners over the last few years in Western Australia, it was only time that a new temptation was to arrive. Enter Ultra Perth. A World Athletics – AIMS Certified 50km course, that takes in the best of the best that Perth has to offer.
With 50km and Half Marathon options available, the course takes runners from Bayswater to East Perth, over the Matagarup Bridge, the Causeway, Elizabeth Quay to Nedlands, down through the Narrows to Deepwater Point and finishing back on the South Perth Foreshore with the most stunning of backdrops.
And since 2024, we have the addition of relay options in the 50k for duos or teams of 3 or 4!
