ENTRY PROCESS

Entries open at 6:00 AWST, Thursday 13th June, 2024 and close at 23:59pm Wednesday 4th June 2024 AWST – unless sold out. Entries are capped at 1000 runners.

Any cancellation up until 30th April, 2024 will receive a full refund minus the $30 admin fee. No cancellations received after this date. This also applies to rollover requests.

Exchanges can be actioned by any entered participants up until entries close. This is actioned yourselves by simply clicking on the link received with your registration confirmed email and following the prompts. Please note that the exchange must be actioned by both parties by the close of entries otherwise the change will not happen.

SOUTH PERTH EVENT VILLAGE LOCATION

All runners MUST check in at the event village prior to start of race, regardless of distance and starting location. The village is located next to the big flag pole in Sir James Mitchell Park, South Perth approx 200m West of Coode St jetty and 1klm East of Mends St jetty and Ferry. 

EVENT START TIMES AND CHECK IN

Check in times:

  • Race village (at finish line) will be open for check in on Friday 6th June from 5pm – 7pm for all distances.

Alternatively:

  • 50k solo and teams check in opens from 4:30am to 6am
  • 21k check in opens from 6am – 7:30am

Event start times:

  • 50k Solo = 7:00am
  • 50k Teams = 7:10am
  • 21k = 8:00am

QUALIFICATION

There are no qualification requirements to enter either distance; however, you know your abilities and we trust you enter the event that is within your capabilities.

VOLUNTEERS

Ultra Perth is held in a busy and well utilised area of Perth that will be open to the public throughout the event. As such, many additional marshals along with the usual collection of a big team of volunteers are needed to make Ultra Perth happen. If you would like to help out at Ultra Perth, Please fill in the form on the website. All volunteers will receive a 20% volunteer credit to ANY of the 12 Ultra Series events held around the country.

BUS DEPARTURES FOR 50K RUNNERS

The optional bus for those that have purchased the $5 bus ride with their entry, departs from the South Perth Village from 6:10am – 6:20am

 

TRANSITION ZONES & RELAY LEGS

There are 4 legs for each Relay team. Teams can ONLY swap over runners within the transition zones.

  • Teams of 2 can run whichever legs they like, as long as each runner tackles at least 1 leg.
  • Teams of 4 must run one leg each.

Leg 1 – Start (Bayswater) to East Perth Transition 1 = 10k

Leg 2 – East Perth to Nedlands Transition 2 = 13.5k

Leg 3 – Nedlands to Deepwater Transition 3 = 15.0k

Leg 4 – Deepwater to Finish = 11.5k

WATER & AID STATIONS

There will be 5 full service aid stations (water, Tailwind Nutrition, Coke, fresh fruit, lollies and crisps) and 3 Water (Water & Tailwind) aid stations throughout the course.

If you have your own specific needs, drop bags can be utilised for ALL said stations in the 50k event – ONLY FOR SOLO RUNNERS.
